We might be all about mochi, but we’re serious about doing the right thing too. For us, that means taking small, meaningful steps to positively impact communities, employees and the environments we interact with and depend on.
We believe business can be run differently, in a way that benefits people, planet and profit.
2025 marked the first year we formally reported on our social and environmental impact, after becoming a Certified B Corp. We’ll now report annually, to celebrate progress, be open about challenges, and keep pushing ourselves to do better.
Our impact is built on three pillars: Positive Sourcing, Growth with Integrity and Little Footprint, guiding how we make our products, grow our business and reduce our environmental footprint. Our approach continues to evolve as we learn more, try new ideas and respond to the world around us.
Chocolate
The dark chocolate crafted into our Chocolate Ganache and Chocolate Fudge mochi ice cream is crafted by Luker Chocolate, a Certified B Corp in Colombia.
We work in partnership with Luker to support sustainable cocoa farming and are currently establishing third party minimum farm standards with a group of their cocoa farmers, helping improve environmental practices, livelihoods and long term resilience.
Mango
The mangoes in our bestselling Passionfruit & Mango mochi ice cream are Alphonso mangoes, grown in Tamil Nadu, southern India.
In 2025, we moved 100% of our mango sourcing to be sustainably certified, with farmers trained and audited to meet the SAI Platform’s Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) Silver standard, supporting better farming practices and improved incomes.
Dairy
All the dairy used in Little Moons is 100% British and certified to the Red Tractor Standard.
This ensures standards of animal welfare and food safety are met, and means our milk and cream are traceable to UK farms.
Sugar
Our sugar is made from British sugar beet, primarily grown in East Anglia, keeping our supply chain close to our factory.
These sugar beets are grown to the Red Tractor Standard, supporting responsible farming practices.
